When you design anything, bags, motorcycles, power tools, you design them to purpose. It's a touring bike. It's a ladies fashion handbag. It's a top quality tradesman's power drill.
What if I told you one of my design measures for Jack Stillman bags was "post-apocalytic zombie warfare"!
Ok. So not exactly a highly likely use of one of my bags but I figure if such a scenario existed, what would I want in my bag? Ruggedness? Comfort? Security? Ease of Access to my machete? Yes! Yes and yes I say!
And not to mention good looks! I mean, just because the world has ended doesn't mean you have to look shabby right?
Pictured is the Solo P in Black. Although I'd once swore I wouldn't support black leather bags, peer pressure caused me to explore this leather. And I'm glad I did. It has less nap (brushed, furry feel) than the brown nu-buck but it develops an awesome patina with use. Parts go shiny, other parts develop a cloudy marbled look. Dress it with a rub down of Dubbin or leave it el-naturale to collect the grease and oils from you hands.
