Purchased the commodore bag to use for work, and am extremely happy happy with it. Fits all I need, and is so comfortable to wear/carry. I had a coupe of questions to ask when I received the bag, and Jarrod rang me back straight away. Am so chuffed that I went and bought the Motorcycle Ridgeback Messenger bag for casual use and could not be happier.

The bag is fine. Experience? Not so great. The page advertises that the bag is motorcycle ready and misleads you to believe that you can just strap it onto any generic rail. I am not sure about other bikes but on my 2018 Triumph Speedmaster it requires a custom made rail. The photo of the T100 in the webpage has a custom made rail - not available in any retail joint (as of the time of this review - hopefully they exist now). I was offered to return the item for refund less postage, which I did (albeit late but I had been away, and the bag was still brand new untouched), only for Jarrod to rudely tell me that this was not possible, that "no business in their right mind" would do this, and that some customers were "wishy washy". Pretty arrogant and rude attitude. Anyway, not much can be done other than leave an honest review. The bag itself is fine but the question I was asked here was how was my overall experience, so here it is
Thanks for taking your time to review Ray. I take on board your comments about the difficulty you had getting the bag to fit your motorcycle. As you know, we were in constant contact and I made many recommendations to you and even referred you to Rogue Motorcycles and several other solutions online. In my opinion and by your admission, you didn't want to make it work, you expected it to just fit straight to your bike out of the post bag. I am personally comfortable with the fact that nothing on the product page could have given the average person that opinion. In fact, you were the very first. Nevertheless I will spell it out from now on. As for the return, let's all be honest here Ray: You purchased the made-to-order bag on September 15 and then attempted to return it on 22 November. I am a small business, not Target or Kmart and returning items after 3 months in your possession is just not a viable proposition for most businesses. I will let the reader decide if I was being unreasonable here.
I'm a huge fan of this bag. I got it as a Christmas gift two or three years back. The person who gifted it to my said customer service and shipping the the States went extremely smoothy. The bag has been put through a decent amount of abuse and has held up remarkably well. When it does eventually give out, I'll absolutely buy another.

Just received my Commodore bag and it has exceeded my expectations. Very happy
It took me a little time to get used to no external pockets, now I don't notice, it's perfect as I travel on public transport to work, so much better than a backpack, love it.
