A Krama is not a shemagh. It's a sturdy traditional Cambodian garment with many uses. I bought my first Krama from Siem Reap in 2010 and I include it as one of my most used pieces of EDC.
Traditional uses include as a scarf, bandana to cover the face, for decorative purposes, and as a hammock for children. I've used mine over the years as a light blanket on long flights, Shade from the sun, to tie down items to my motorcycle and as an impromptu bag to carry stuff.
